On the last day of term the Aroha Team spent half an hour caring for our Matipo environment.

Each class had an area of our school to tidy up – collecting rubbish, putting lost property away and making sure things were tidy. When this was finished they headed down to Taipari Strand to continue. What a lot of rubbish they found!

Kaitiakitanga is one of our Matipo Values – guardianship of our sky, our sea and our land.
