Thank you Inga, Trudi and all parent helpers as well as our great children.
After an unfortunate fall earlier this week, we’ve had some of the footpaths repaired by grinding down lips caused by earth movement, with more to be done in the coming days.
This week we took delivery of a portable building, to use as a meeting/interview space and for storage.
After some delay in starting, our new Junior playground is now under construction and is shooting up rapidly. This is being built next to the PE Shed behind rooms 12 & 13. It is a replacement for the one displaced by the new Jubilee Block and is built as part of that project.
Adding a touch of class to some cloakrooms.
The Senior Syndicate beautified their area during their camp last Thursday. Check it out! Huge thank you to Holly Vaihu, Serena Kearns and Tania Rose for all your hard work and creativity. Another huge thank you to Resene for donating the paint.
Work continues on the conifer tree which is coming down because it is unsafe. Rather than getting hauled away, the entire tree (bar the largest trunk segments) has been mulched on site and is being distributed on to the playgrounds as soft fall base by a very large truck.
Cutting down the big conifer tree is a major job! The tree is being removed as a safety precaution on the advice of an arborist.
