Kia Ora!

I’m Sian Foley and I have worked at Matipo since 2012.  I am a teacher and the syndicate leader in the Tamariki syndicate. I have a passion for teaching and learning through problem solving and in my class, we use the Habits of Mind programme as a basis for this.  Please feel free to chat to me if you want to learn more about it!

I live in Te Atatu Peninsula with my husband and two children, Lachlan and Matilda.  Originally I come from Brisbane, Australia, and I enjoy going home to visit friends and family whenever I can. I enjoy being active and I play netball regularly.  In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and friends.
