I am a beginning teacher and am thrilled to be working at Matipo Primary School. I began my career working with at risk teens, moving onto Women’s refuge work and finally finding my passion in Disability Services.
I then went to study part time and completed a Certificate in Personal Training. Wanting to make a difference in the lives of children led me to teaching. I delight in seeing students achieve their goals and strive to provide a fun, fair, flourishing learning environment. I love to run and play netball. I have five children ranging from 20 to 6 year old twins and spend most weekends around Auckland supporting them in their sport.
