This week, we have been able to welcome two Japanese students who are sisters and are with us for six weeks, Koume and Koyuzu Omura. We also welcome brother and sister Zichen and Zihan Liang from China who are staying for four weeks. Nau mai, haere mai, welcome to our whanau koutou, Kia Ora!
On the 6th August, we also welcome a whanau of twenty six students from China with four teachers accompanying them. They arrive with us on Sunday 5th August when they will meet their homestay hosts and are staying for two weeks. They will learn about the life of Matipo School and what it is like to be a akonga, (learner) in our kura and our community.
