Following the success of last year’s Book Fair, we are having the 2017 Book Fair in association with Scholastic from 19th – 23rd June.
There will be an opening night on Monday 19th June at 7pm with two guest readers. The Book Fair is open for sales between 8am – 9am and 2.45pm – 3.45pm daily, and of course, will be open for sales on Monday evening between 7pm – 8.30pm.
On Friday 23rd June the Taonga, Aroha and Mana syndicates are having a Book Character Dress Up Parade with a few prizes including tickets for a special event, donated by Vanessa Preston.

The next meeting will be held in the staff room at 7pm on Thursday 22nd June.

Tomorrow’s assembly is at 2.15 pm in the hall for the Taonga and Mana Syndicates, and will be hosted by Room 17.

We are excited to be taking part in ‘Wig Wednesday’ on Wednesday 21st June and fundraising for Kiwi kids with cancer. It’s easy to take part – just wear a wig on the day and bring a gold coin donation for Child Cancer Foundation. All funds raised by our school will help support Kiwi children with cancer and their families.
Prefer not to buy a wig? You can make a wig using a template from the Wig Wednesday website, or an original wig or headpiece of your own. Create wacky hair using ribbons, clips, temporary colouring or old-fashioned back-combing!

Please ensure your child comes to school dressed warmly and with a rain coat if possible. Please make a particular effort to drive carefully on the streets near the school and please do not park over neighbour’s driveways.
Also, a timely reminder to please send your child to school with a change of clothes in their bag. With wet weather and lots of mud around, accidents do happen. If we don’t have the appropriate change of clothes, we will have to contact you to drop some off. Thank you.

All Entertainment Memberships sold up until the end of June go into the draw to win 2 bottles of Evans and Tate Breathing Space Wine. For purchases, see the office or visit:×44.
