Matipo Newsletter #7 March 16th

The ‘Keeping Ourselves Safe’ programme is well underway with our school community officer Constable Paul Stanko and staff delivering lessons to each class.
Tomorrow will be Athletics Day with the Te Atatu Zone Athletics to be held on Tuesday 21st March at the Trusts Stadium.
Next week another four teachers will be undergoing a kayaking training course.

Matipo Netball Club – FINAL NOTICE
A reminder that TOMORROW, Friday 17th March, is the last day for enrolments and fees. Extra enrolment forms are available from the school office. The netball coordinators will be finalising teams during the weekend so any late enrolments cannot be accepted.

As it is Athletics Day tomorrow, there will be no assembly.

Friends of Matipo have announced their first event for the year…

Wednesday 12th April at 9am. All children are invited to create an Easter themed hat and join the Easter Bonnet Parade. Families welcome! Lots of prizes to be won.

NZ Opera in Schools ‘Don Pasquale’
On Tuesday 28th March there will be a performance from the NZ Opera in Schools touring company of Donizetti’s Don Pasquale. The show will be held at school for all the children at the subsidised cost of $4 per child. Please see the reply notice below.
